Arts ConnectEd

A joint website of the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Institute of Arts. Some of the features of this site include links to visual images from the wonderful galleries of these two great museums. There's also a section called “Playground” that has interactive art activities, include explorations of art works that combine music with visual art.

Angel Fire and Children's Music Workshop

Two great sites to find videos that help you become a better musician. Watch other kids play the music you are learning, or get video instruction from great teachers! Angel Fire has a special emphasis on learning to play guitar.


Baltimore Symphony Orchestra

This website of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra has features like online musical games that allow you to create music using a composing sketchpad.


Carnegie Hall Listening Adventures

Part of the website of world-famous Carnegie Hall, this site gives you the opportunity to learn about the famous Symphony #9, “From the New World,” by Antonin Dvorak. The interactive activities include exploring the instruments used and learning from the composer himself! Primarily intended for students age 6 to 12.
